What are we?

ALAKIND™ is a visual storytelling companion - from conception to production.

This production/strategy company by Kreative Kwame offers visual production from a brand view & creative direction that ignites, that makes us feel.

The ALAKIND ART FEST is a three-day hybrid contemporary art festival Rooted in multi-channel video installations, photo previews, sonic experiences, and physical prints geared towards social causes.

WHY CAMEROON ?

WHY NOW?

Cameroon is home to a rapidly rising generation of artists, yet it is also a country marked by internal conflict, fragile infrastructure, and underfunded cultural systems. Despite these challenges, creatives here have persisted, often producing in hostile conditions. From conflict zones to cities overwhelmed by environmental decay, artists are telling stories that resonate far beyond their borders. The AL’AFEST’s first home will be the economic capital, Douala, a bridge between English and French Regions. We envision December 2026 which is peak for visiting diaspora and vacationers.

The startup handles full creative, visual & art direction for musical acts Jefffy and Najeme.

  • Rising from the streets of NTA, Douala, Jeffy’s story is one filled with many adventures.

    In a world which presented him with many obstacles, one thing was clear - his love for music.

    His first officially released single ”Peace of Mind” invites the listener to find peace - the ultimate peace, inner peace. Set with a new style of afro-pop blend with a jazzy undertone, Jeffy sings in his vernacular, “Bangwa“, English, French & Pidgin-English.

    The rising Cameroonian artist promises to make his audience dance, smile as broadly as he does and most importantly, as his social media handles suggest - Vibe, with Jeffy.

  • Working on his Debut EP, Najeme gave us a glimpse of his skillful songwriting & unique melodies with his first official single Mont Cameroon, and his newly released short - Tolambo.

    The Buea-based singer/songwriter & budding producer brings Afro-soul, Alternative RnB with a touch of Makossa.

    Painting vivid stories of affection with his piercing, raw voice, like us, he has been through a lot, and that makes it all the more relatable.
